Nazir goes to war and Najib may lose

1. Najib's weak link is not his wife but his youngest brother Nazir Razak, the wonder banker who can do no wrong and who says he does not need help.

2. Nazir sits on the EPF investment panel, nd guess what? He has been pushing for EPF to get involve in projects with his clients.

3. All the while Azlan Zainol the big man at epf is keeping silent because he does not want to upset Najib and reducing his chances of getting renewed.

4. But Azlan cannot hold his peace anymore.

5. It is confirmed that Azlan will leave next year so he is telling anyone who will listen and complaining about how Nazir has been using Jibby's influence to push through investments important to cimb and nazir while sitting on the epf investment panel.

6. Same story at Ministry of Finance. Datuk Puteh, Datuk Zulaikha and the secretary-general of treasury Tan Sri Aziz have been conducting a whispering campaign against Nazir n CIMB.

7. They say they feel pressured to give CIMB all the MOF's business, the latest being the rm800 million Sukuk Bonds.

8. Whenever word spreads that MOF is thinking of spreading the business to other banks, they get a call from Nazir or one of his guys at cimb, dropping big brother's name.

9. With elections around the corner, Najib is courting disaster by making civil servants angry at the growing influence of his brother.

10. Worse still Nazir feels slighted by Dr Mahathir and has started a campaign to discredit the former pm and block any investments from Mahathir's cronies like Syed Mokhtar and Daim Zainuddin.

11. To go to war with Dr Mahathir, he has the help of his good friend Khazanah boss Azman Mokhtar.

12. Azman will block Syed Mokhtar's bid for UEM and has also blocked Daim's move to privatise PLUS.

13. Nazir is upset Dr Mahathir blasted him for questioning the NEP.

14. He is also upset that mahathir has started digging up info on the billions in fees cimb has made in pushing deals at the expense of the country.

15. At a meeting two weeks ago, Mahathir told Najib that Nazir was a weak link.

16. Now Nazir is hitting back, funding a campaign to discredit Mahathir.

17. He has hired international pr outfit to dig up dirt on Mahathir and his son, Mokhzani.

18. This has consequences for Najib because he may be old but Dr Mahathir is a fighter.

19. Now that Nazir is gunning after Dr Mahathir, there is nothing stopping Dr Mahathir from unleashing hell on Nazir and his protector Najib.

  2. It would be good if the Mamak and Jibby's younger brother start to expose each other's secrets so that the public will know the truth, which had all this while been covered up by the BeEnd Govt.

I think this internal fighting will trash out the unpopular one. therefore, there isn't any point of internal fighting. Just lay peacefully in the rectangle square box, leave in peace!

  5. same old story. When can we leave together and earn the wealth together among races. Let give DSAI a chance to make a different for Malaysian - not to individual Malaysian only.

  6. I guess Nazir is just doing his job. As a CEO of a company, he has to do the best for his company. Afterall, that is what he has been paid to do. If the PM is his bro, and if he needs to push that 'bully' button, then it is just another usual business strategy.

What is wrong with Najib taking advice from his youngest bro. If he doesn't seek advice from his bro, he may seek it from someone else.

In any battle, if one chooses to fight, he must make use of all the resources he can dispense with. So what's wrong with Nasir getting abit of help in his fight against Mahathir

  7. I honestly don't think that's fair comment. Nazir is an established banker today simply because he worked very hard and paid his dues - you can't take that away from him. Just because he happens to be Najib's brother inadvertently attracts jealousy and unsavoury fodder from both sides of the political divide. He is much admired and respected by the international banking community and he has an excellent management team. He managed to build CIMB up, despite the bank being bogged down by tons of old BBMB political loans, and turned it into a global bank of great pedigree. Why do we keep bashing people who are successful in putting Malaysia on the map for the right reasons? He made some honest comments regarding the NEP because he knows what the business and financial community are thinking, rather than playing to the political gallery. Nazir is likely to give an honest opinion that his brother needs to hear and will give the right feedback to the government in their policy making - you don't kill the messenger when the message is something you don't want to hear. I think as Malaysians, we must rise above the muck of stories that we hear in the gossip vines, and give credit where credit is due.

For once I hope the Truth but nothing but the Truth will surface. but then again, what can we do with all the Sins committed against the Rakyat??? I think a thousand death sentence bestowed onto the deserving parties will not alleviate the economic sufferings we are undergoing with more to come. Perhaps a total confiscation of the ill-gained wealth or unaccounted gains will do some justice. In some other countries, lynching or a bullet and full confiscation are common. Have no fear, if you have not misplaced the Rakyat trust in you!
